What we are looking for? (Part Time and/or Full Time position available)
An energetic, passionate and outgoing event sales professional to join our team.
Ideally an individual with years of experience selling corporate or community events services.
An excellent verbal and written communicator.
Focus on selling and booking event services on the phone, whilst being responsible for delivering confirmed services to our clients from start to finish.
Understand the clients needs and sell service solutions accordingly. Be comfortable with prospecting, upselling and following up leads, utilising negotiation skills to convert enquiries into confirmed business.
Management of Event Service Plan & Budget, ensuring staffing requirements and client expectations are met.
Work with relevant software platforms and spreadsheets to ensure event invoices are sent & paid and event details are recorded and updated correctly.
The suitable candidate will thrive working a combination of weekdays and weekends, in a fast paced enthusiastic office environment that is solution focused and loves people.

Salary will be negotiated based on the candidate’s experience.
Responsibilities will include:
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Reporting to the Business Manager.
First point of contact for corporate events, community events and children birthday parties.
Editing proposals, writing email correspondence, generating quotes, converting enquiries to sales, following up on leads, taking booking and processing payments.
Liaise with clients to gain all the event information and details with zero room for error.
Entering event booking details into the CRM in a prompt manner.
Meeting with Management and team members to ensure event delivery is as per the booking.
Liaise with clients regarding changes and amendments to bookings.
Understand service, pricing and contribute to rate negotiation and contracts
Proactively identify up sell opportunities
Review and analyse client feedback and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance future events
Ensure strong service standards are consistently maintained
Liase across internal service departments to ensure all operational requirements of events are fulfilled
Conflict resolution and solution creating (problem solving) skills
Strategic development and implementation of new systems and processes.
Corresponding Office Duties
Marketing
Grant writing as applicable
Graphic Design as applicable
Ability to step in as a performer (if applicable)
Essential Skills, Experience & Knowledge:
Ability to demonstrate a professional level of event management skills
Highly developed organisational skills.
Work cooperatively with the management team and be a good team player
Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales, admin or events
Outstanding communications and presentation skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work autonomously and show initiative.
Ability to work flexible hours according to the needs of the business.
Able to communicate confidently with clients and parents showing excellent customer service skills.
Conflict resolution and problem solving skills
Proven track record in sales (meeting and exceeding sales targets)
Strong administrative skills including Google Suite (intermediate level)
Knowledge of general accounting/budgeting practices (invoicing, purchase orders, budgets)
The ability to multitask effectively and meet tight deadlines
Previous experience with an events/sales CRM, preferred but not essential.
Self motivated, positive & proactive and a can-do attitude.
Excellent administrative skills including proofreading and attention to detail.
Ability to work to multiple deadlines whilst staying calm under pressure.
Have a reliable car to get to and from event venues as required
Immediate start for the right candidate.
